This is a great video made by a guest of ours! Some of the clips are taken in our rental skiffs and some are in the up-grade rental boat, probably from the previous year. The Salmon King is Jim and the video man is Jim's brother Bryan! Thanks guys!

Adventure Alaska SoutheastDear Jason & Trish,
Thanks again for another great week in Alaska! Your hospitality is always top notch and personal. The little touches are the things that keep us coming back- being able to smoke salmon while we are there, crabbing, ocean fishing or river fishing, grilling oysters. And no matter what Mike told you Trish, the raspberry pie was to die for-perfection! Thanks for all you so to make the week a success.See you soon.
Jason & Team,
I just want to thank you for an outstanding experience on my first trek to hunt Alaska. For a do-it-yourself hunter, your facilities and staff are absolutely perfect and provide just the level of attention needed to have an enjoyable trip, but with plenty of room to “figure it out myself!” From the truck, to the cabin and the meat processing facilities, everything was absolutely first class and made the logistics of travel all the way from Virginia and back absolutely painless (with a little more freight on the way home too)!
I spend a lot of time in the fields and marshes of Virginia, and I have been blessed to hunt in some pretty neat places all over, but everything I have seen so far pales in comparison to Prince of Wales Island. What a majestic landscape and wonderful culture! I was honored to hike its grounds and harvest a pretty awesome animal. I can assure you my hunting partner and I will be back, next time with our wives. They have had to hear so much about it since we got home that they are ready to join us next time!Special thanks too to Steve, James, Rita, and our good buddy Rosey up the hill!
Lou Glavanics here.
Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for your families hospitality. The accommodations were fantastic and the hunting was great. Its always nice to get to that part of the world and enjoy everything that the Prince of Wales has to offer. As with all trips to great places the time always seem to go way too fast. Perhaps next time we'll have to extend our trip. Its always hard to leave good people and good times.Again, thank you for everything.
On the flight home, Kathy and I decided our trip to Adventure Alaska was the best vacation we have ever taken! It is not often you can say your expectations were exceeded. On this trip, they were! The accommodations, vehicle, and equipment were first-rate; the fishing and deer hunting were outstanding; and the weather (which I am fairly certain you can’t control) was incredible.
Beyond that, you and your staff were genuine and pleasant. Our time there felt more like staying with family or friends rather than being a “customer”. Our questions were always answered with a smile and you took time to make sure our trip was one to remember.
Our vacation with Adventure Alaska was so wonderful we have booked again for 2015 and will be bringing my son and daughter to experience Prince of Wales Island and Thorne Bay. My brother and nephew, as well as Kathy’s sister and brother-in-law, will also be joining us. After hearing about our trip, they were not about to pass up an opportunity to come with and see it for themselves!
We look forward to seeing you again soon and thank you for everything.Sincerely,
Greg and Kathy Busch
Dear Jason and Staff at Adventure Alaska,
This was my first trip to Alaska and I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had on any trip, for hunting or otherwise. We were met at the float plane by Jason and driven up to our awesome condo with all the amenities of home. There was not one discomfort or time when I wished I had something more. Everything from the facilities to the gear was top notch and in excellent condition. We set our crab pots with our skiff, drove our 4x4 all over the island in search of bear and deer and relaxed in our comfortable condo each night after our long hunting days. My hunting partner and I were lucky enough to draw 2 black bear tags and we purchased deer tags. By the third day we were zeroed in on the bears and we both tagged out by our 4th day of hunting. We decided to begin fishing and deer hunting in the afternoons. We caught some delicious salmon and dungeness crabs every day for dinner and chased the bucks in the alpine areas of the island. We did not fill our deer tags but we had an awesome series of deer hunts and the scenery was amazing. We are already talking about returning to deer hunt in 2015 and we can't wait to see everyone again.
Thank you all for an excellent experience.David Voth
Jason- a couple of photo's from our trip that Tony took, if you are interested.
We really enjoyed our stay at your lodge. The 'cabin' is more like a home. It was spacious and new. The full size truck you assigned to us was in like new condition. Everything was clean and in great shape. You offer a nice set up- everything we needed was either on hand or a short drive to the store in town.
The fishing was great. We were easily able to get to good spots in the 16' skiff. Next time we will reserve your bigger boat to explore further. I was surprised to see how nice your halibut and salmon rods are. We really did not need to bring up our own. Your tackle store makes it easy to put down the gear that will work. We ate like kings every night: salmon, halibut, crab. It was hard to leave.
Thanks, and hope to see you next year!Rob Mikelsons
Just wanted to say thanks to you, your wife and your staff for a great vacation I had, the accommodations were great, Jim was the best out on the water and was fun to fish with , this was probably the best vacation I have taken to date You guys do live in gods country and pictures don’t do it justice, I think you have to be there to believe it, tell you wife thanks for the baked goods they were to die for and James for all the help with everything I hope we were not the biggest pain in the butts. My wife wants to go now so I guess I will be planning a another trip.........well once again I would like to say thanks for the great experience and the great hospitality, you and your wife run a A++++++++++++ business up there keep it going.Jim B. and the Wyoming guys
Hi Jason and Trish,
Tom and I want to thank you for providing an unbelievably refreshing vacation haven. We’re so fortunate to have chosen Adventure Alaska.
By the way, when we stayed at the Klondike RV Park in Soldotna, AK, for 7 days, we told the owner about how great your place was. So now I’m telling you…he runs a super place, too!
Thank you for everything!Rita Kane
P.S. To anyone who is planning a trip to Prince of Wales for fishing or simply for exploring the island, you definitely need to stay with Jason and Trish at Adventure Alaska…first class accommodations and friendly services from all. If you’re used to a typical fishing cabin, you’ll find this to be more of a “condo cabin” with a huge living area, plenty of storage, and all the conveniences you could want!
Dear Jason and Trish,
Just wanted to take the time to thank you both for another GREAT time and trip to Adventure Alaska.
Everything was perfect again! It was my step brother Richard's first time in Alaska and his first bear. To see the smile on his face everyday was priceless What a great way to pay him back for getting me started in the hunting world, some 35 plus years ago. He was not disappointed and can not wait to come back!
As for myself, it was my largest bear ever. He is over 20 inches and perfect hide. We saw something new everyday. I am still falling in love with Thorne Bay and the people that live there.
Thank you so much. I will see you again, Hopefully with my wife Debra on her first trip to Alaska, as we look for a lot in Thorne Bay to build on someday. I cannot thank you and your staff enough. May God bless you and your family with favor always.
Richard Griffin Hi Jason & Trish,
Thank you very much again for your warm hospitality. We all had a remarkable time during our stay. Your fully equipped facilities made us enjoy our trip much more. And, it is always good to meet with the nice people like you & your family. James was also nice and helpful.
We would not hesitate to recommend your place to our friends and family. In fact, some of our friends and family members already ask us to organize another fishing trip at your place. Therefore, yes, it is a big chance that you will see us again. Although it will be our third time at Adventure Alaska, I am sure we will still enjoy it very much and more feel like home.
By the way, please do let us know if you come to Hong Kong or Shanghai(China). We would love to show you around. Please send our warmest regards to your children.Cheers~~~Hiromia, Kelly, Calvin, Don & Chris
Thank you for your hospitality while being your guests. Adventure Alaska Southeast's family and employees are all wonderful people. Though my husband had stayed with you before, I had not, and my expectations were surpassed! Your lodging is top notch and the hunting and fishing was amazing! Where else can you spend a week with such great people, have a nice truck and boat, harvest two 20" black bears, see amazing whales up close and personal while in the boat, canoe, and take in all the beauty of Alaska? We highly recommend your establishment to anyone! Thanks again for a wonderful week and we will see you soon!
Dear Jason & Trish,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you both (and James & Rita too) for providing a top notch place for me and my crew to stay while Hunting Bear in Alaska. I was very pleased with the Cottage and the Equipment and amenities. Your facility and people really turned a vendor/customer trip into a once in a lifetime hunting experience that all of us will remember fondly the rest of our lives. There wasn’t one us that wanted to leave and everyone was as excited about the trip going home as when we were leaving for Alaska, and that is very difficult to pull off.
Thank you again,
Jason and Trish,
Thank you for a wonderful week at Adventure Alaska. I could not have picked a better venue for my first ever hunting trip. Everything was great, from the initial orientation by Trish to the final trip to the plane by Jason. The total experience was unforgettable, getting my bear was just icing on the cake. I will recommend Adventure Alaska to all of the hunters I know. Once again, Thanks!

We had a great trip with you and Jason and definitely will return ! I have made several trips to Alaska over the years and stayed at different lodges/camps-yours is by far the best of the best ! I have given your brochures to two of my customers who are planning Alaska next year. Will definitely continue to be your unofficial local sales force !
Jason & Trisha,
Thanks so much for making my first Alaskan fishing week truly an adventure! The manner in which you familiarized all 14 of us with your equipment, transportation--boats and vehicles, services, facilities, and daily updates of fishing locations was truly the mark of professionalism. I've been lots of places during military deployments throughout the world but never welcomed as you & your staff did for us 20-27 August 2010. Especially noteworthy was your daily availability to all departing groups each morning, regardless of the hour. I had heard many laudatory comments reference your operation but was totally blown away to see my expectations greatly exceeded! Best to you & family and thanks again for the great support.
Sincerely, J.W. Felder

We would like to thank Trisha, Jason, Jory, James, Rita, and Amy for making our stay in Alaska one to remember for a long time. Enough cannot be said about the accommodations at Adventure Alaska and the friendly people of Thorne Bay. For many of us this was our first trip to Alaska and truly a learning experience. Your website was very helpful in preparing for the trip. Good rain gear is a must. We were greeted at the pier by Jason even though we were early and things rolled smoothly from there. Everything from room and board to the Lund boats equipped with 4 stroke motors and GPS speaks to your professionalism. We chartered the Alpha & Omega and Jory treated us to some very fine fishing (see pics). I had a huge halibut on and managed to get it close enough to see before it decided it liked the bottom better. The day was complete with a scenic ride home including whales playing in the kelp. I caught the 3 largest fish of my life in the matter of just a few hours. We found everything we needed in the tackle shop equipped with anything from halibut jigs to the tiniest of flies for stream fishing. All of our fish were cleaned, vacuum packed, and frozen for the flight home. I will definitely be seeing you all again next year in hopes of landing the grand slam of Southeast Alaska fishing with a few salmon thrown in for good measure. My recommendations started on the flight home from Ketchikan as I was sorting out pictures and had given your website to several people by the time we made Seattle.
Thank you for all you did for us to make our recent visit to Thorne Bay very enjoyable. Our charter trip aboard the Alpha & Omega was successful due to Jory's commitment to satisfy. On a day that Mother Nature threw some very nasty weather at us he put us into a limit of Halibut in calmer waters and we also had some bonus rockfish. Jory also shared some great advice with us when I asked him about fishing the Thorne River as that was our plan for the next day. Not only did he make tackle suggestions for both fly and spin fishing, he also told us about some good locations to try. We used that information to hook several fish the next day including the the one in the attached photo.
The way you set us up for our last day of fishing the saltwater of Thorne Bay with skiff and gear rental was the perfect finish for a wonderful trip. Even though we had no offshore rods or tackle you helped us with everything we needed (even to the extent of a dot on the map) including the right tackle and techniques even how deep to fish. We turned that advice into a 13 Salmon day that will always be a special day in our memories. We hope to return for another trip of memories in the future.
Thanks again Jason,
Ed and Jane Vanderzanden
Along with my large group, I recently traveled to Prince of Wales Island on a business trip and had the pleasure of staying at Jason and Trisha Clowar's Adventure Alaska. As we were a group of fifteen adults, I was concerned about what the accommodations would be. Would there be enough room to lodge everyone? Would we be comfortable? Would we be warm? Fortunately, I was quickly put at ease as I checked-in to my cabin.
Not only were the cabins incredibly clean and spacious, but they came equipped with their own kitchen (including kitchenware), had quick-to-warm room heaters, as well as had a convenient on-site office and laundry facility. It truly had all the luxuries of a home, and Jason and his staff (living up to the rumors of Alaskans) were wonderfully kind, helpful, and friendly. We even rented vehicles from Jason that were perfect for the Alaskan landscape!
All in all, Adventure Alaska completely went above and beyond our expectations. It was affordable, comfortable, and convenient (Promech and Pacific Air are right down the hill!). It was absolutely the ideal locale for us and I would highly recommend it to anyone who asked whether staying on the Island for business or pleasure.
Thank you again Jason and Trisha!
Thanks for a great time in Southeast! We really enjoyed the comfort and convenience of the cottages, facilities and vehicles. Everything was new and immaculate and the BBQ and hot tub were fantastic... we didn’t even make it to the game room! The steelhead fishing was great and your knowledge of the area helped tremendously. We were able to easily access and fish several different watersheds from a comfortable home base ... perfect for the do-it-yourself steelheader! And do I even have to mention the scenery and solitude of the island!? What a relaxing trip. We will be back next year and hope to make it an annual event shared with other friends and family. Thanks again.

Dear Jason & Trish,
It is hard to put in words what our vacation was like in Thorne Bay. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and Trish met us with a serving of fresh smoked salmon and crackers that were out of this world and from that point on the hospitality was amazing.
I was able to see Alaska on a cruise prior to going to Thorne Bay, but it has always been my dream to go to Alaska on a fishing trip. I have to say that every outing that we were able to complete from your facility in Thorne Bay was EPIC. We took a long distance boat ride across the Clearance Straight in a 16-foot skiff (outside the insurance coverage, but it produced awesome late season Kings). We spent several days in fishing unbelievable rivers that produced great Coho (silvers) and Humpies (pinks), and we chartered a Pacific Ocean fishing extravaganza that was beyond my wildest dreams.
I will spend the rest of my life talking about my trip and enjoying the pictures that were taken. I can only hope that I am able to return with more friends and family to share the experience of a lifetime in Thorne Bay…
I hope this letter finds you and your family well; I thank you again for the time and effort that you and Trish put in, to make our trip one that I will never forget.
Hey Jason and Trish. Here are some pics of my bear. I can't tell you guys how exciting and satisfying our hunt was with ya'll there on our early September hunt. Bears, salmon, trout and crabs are certainly abundant! Would love to get back up there with my wife for the salmon run. I know who to contact when we come.
Thank you so much for your hospitality.
It was early October on Prince of Whales Island, Alaska. I was hunting with Adventure Alaska Southeast. Bears were scattered throughout the island and were pretty difficult to find, not normal for Prince of Whales Island. Day 5 of a 7-day hunt started out like your typical day in bear camp. We went out early do a little fishing and to retrieve our crab pots, which were more-often-than-not full of Dungeness Crabs. Upon returning to camp, the four of us would sit down, look over the POW map and make plans for the afternoon hunt.
On this evening my friend Bob Hinman and I were to pair up and hunt together on the southeast side of the island. The plan was for him to drop me off at a creek downstream, while he would go upstream and sit at a site that had a lot of bear sign. I was to walk upstream toward him and eventually meet at a predetermined spot to head back to camp. The day was typical for southeast Alaska, it was around 45 degrees, misting/raining on and off all day, and wind was calm. My pack consisted of the usual essentials, rope, extra knives, flashlight, headlamp, GPS unit, high energy snacks, water bottle, 2 trash bags, tape measure, lighter, radio and extra batteries. As I started my walk up stream, I found myself caught up in the scenery that was all around me. It’s hard to stay focused when you have flights of Canadian geese and Bald Eagles screaming down stream overhead.
I came to a spot about a mile into my walk on the side of the creek where I saw multiple fresh salmon carcasses. I noticed some fresh tracks heading back into the woods from the creek. I decided I would follow these tracks, which were on a well-used bear trail to see where they would lead; a bedding area is what I was hoping to find. As the trail meandered its way deeper into the woods, which was rapidly getting denser, I began to wonder if this was such a good idea. I kept an arrow knocked at all times since the shot opportunity kept getting smaller and smaller “As in dense cover”.
As I was walking quietly the now ankle deep swampy trail, I heard a faint noise behind me. As I looked over my left shoulder I saw a bear walking up the same trail I was on apparently sniffing the ground which was probably covered with dead salmon scent from my felt sole wader boots, about 15 yards away and closing. Trying to control the “SHAKES”, I quietly and smoothly drew back my 70lb. Hoyt bow while my back was still to the bear in hopes that he would not see so much motion. As I came to full draw I slowly turn towards the bear. The bear had stopped about 5 yards away and was looking up as if he was trying to figure out what was in front of him. As I tried to pick a spot on this ball of back hair, I realized that he was entirely too close for using my pins. As I began to look down the shaft of my Eason ACC arrow, the bear began to swing his head left to right while apparently snorting. I could literally feel my heart in my throat.
As the bear swung his head to his right, I saw an open stop in the side of his neck and released the 455 gr. arrow. The bear stood absolutely still after the pass through. I, in disbelief was frozen as well. I slowly, with the bow still in hand and upright began to reach for my trusty Buck knife on my belt. As I released the button on the sheath, the bear turned and ran about 15 yards, stopped and turned as if to get one last look. As I scrambled for another arrow and came to full draw, the bear was gone. The time now was 5:50pm, and daylight was fading fast. I got on the radio, and with both thumbs on the PPT button “this was necessary because I did not have the strength in just one thumb” I got a hold of Bob. We both decided that it would be best to come back in the morning. After finding the blood soaked arrow, I got out my GPS unit and saved the coordinates.
My trip back to the road where Bob was waiting for me in the truck was one I will never forget. It was for one, all up hill and the terrain was all deadfall and thick under brush. Bob would honk the horn on the truck about every 2 minutes or so to keep me on the right heading. It was pitch black, raining, and I was in one of the most dense black bear populations in North America. Needless to say, the stress levels were elevated. After the two hour hike back to the truck, I was exhausted. Getting back to camp, I got into some clean dry clothes and went over the story over and over again for everyone. After a sleepless night, Bob and me went back to the site and recovered the bear 30 yards from the spot of the shot. The bear’s skull measured 18” and squared 6’1/2, not a monster for the area but he was all the bear I came to Alaska for!
Thank you Trish and Jason for your hospitality,
Alaska the beautiful! Thanks once again for the wonderful trip. Although this was not my first time to Alaska, this was my first trip to Prince of Wales Island. In my opinion, you and Trish provided Five-star Accommodations on all aspects of the trip. The lodges far exceeded any expectations I ever had. They were more hospitable than any hotel I have ever seen. The truck and boat was excellent. The hunting/fishing and site seeing was unbelievable.
Every mountaintop, rapidly running stream and logging road produced some sort of unexpected grandeur. After two unsuccessful hunting trips to Maine and Canada I finally got my black bear and a record book one on top of it!!! I had seen my bear three days in a row on the same mountain ridge. I was not able to get the shot because of the distance, vegetation and wind. On the fourth day, while glassing, I spotted my bear feeding near a clear cut. It took me almost two hours to hike within shooting distance of the behemoth creature.
The conditions were perfect this time. I stalked within 72 yards and harvested the bear with one shot. A picture-perfect hunt. My boar weighed approximately 500lbs and scored just over 21 inches (green score). After close examination you could see that my boar had been fighting with another massive boar in the area by the large scars on his ears, nose, and eyes. The picture says it all! Overall, I saw 18 bear and over 200 deer in five days. I am definitely coming back up for a trophy Sitka Blacktail hunt. My only regret is not having enough time to do some serious fly-fishing. Thank you for the friendship and the advice. I really felt like I was at home. Please feel free to use me as a reference.

Looks like you will have to put up with me for another visit in September. Since this will be my third trip with you I thought perhaps you would like for me to summarize some of the highlites of my previous trips. It's not always whether you are successful in bagging your original game species, but the overall enjoyment of the adventure that I feel is the true testament to a successful trip.
Since our first trip when there were nine of us to last year when only 4 of us came wehave been extremely pleased with your accomadations. The cabins are great and it's nice to be able to bring your wife along without her having to worry about hair dryers, hot showers, real meals and a place to do laundry if needed. Most of my hunting trips to Alaska have had none of the above and Brenda would not travel with me. Believe me when I say if you can please her as for the amenities of home; you've done your home work. We finally figured how to fish and bear hunt on the same day and now that I've got that wired I will be able to spend more quality time on the various creeks. Our halibut fishing trip was excellent and of course the encounter with the whale while cruising around in one of your skiffs will always be one of the highlites of my long career in the bush. Having the whale come up under our skiff and rock the boat with it's massive body ranks right up there with a wild elephant charge in Botswana.
I've bought a new camera to capture more of the beautiful scenery on Prince of Wales Island and I hope our trip in September will be as memorable as the first two. Be sure to keep the berries watered this summer and be sure to advise if we need to bring you anything from down under. My mouth is watering for some more fresh smoked salmon and the crabs had better beware since I've already got my crab boil ready. The more I talk about your place the more I want to come next week. If you need to have anyone call me feel free to do so, or they can e-mail me here in hotter-in h--- Texas.
My name is Ross Hrncir; to whom it may concern I have hunted with Trish and Jason three times taking a different group of friends each time. The first trip was in '02. We had six guys and five took bears on the spring hunt. The friend that didn't shoot had many chances and elected not to....he basically went to gain the experience. On that hunt I shot my bear with a 30-284 Remington xp-100 pistol. The bears we took ranged from about 19 inches to 21 inches..... all good bears.
In '04 I went with two friends and all three of us got bears on a spring hunt once again. This time I wanted more of a challenge so I took my Ruger 45 colt and 300-grain pmc ammo. I shot a very large bear at 18 yards. He was pushing 20 inches. The other two my friends took were about the same size.
In '05 a friend and I went this time on a fall hunt mainly for deer with a bow. The weather did not cooperate and we didn't get a deer. Though we had chances at smaller bucks we decided to pass. During our hunt we had two days of bear season so I bought a tag and shot a medium size bear with my bow. He had a great hide and I was proud to have gotten him with my bow. If I go again I might have to take a spear!?! All kidding aside Adventure Alaska has great accommodations and Jason and Trish are great people that will make you feel like family and bend over backward to help any time you need it. The bear population is great and the scenery is awesome! You couldn't ask for a better over all experience.....especially for the price. I hunt a lot and this place ranks very high in over all enjoyment.
Ross HrncirHi Jason,
We enjoyed our stay at your facility this spring. Neal and I were pleased with your services and accommodations. They were clean and comfortable. The vehicle and boat were reliable and in good working order.
We took good bears, a 6.5’ & 6’. We would happily recommend (and have done so) your services to our friends. We are planning a return trip in 05. Once again, thank you for all your assistance.
Tery & Neal Terry
I have been staying with Jason and Trish for the past three springs and have already reserved my trip for 2009.
Jason’s accommodations are clean, organized and way more than I expected for the price. Every night, after a long day of hunting, for the past three years I have enjoyed fresh crab caught in the bay and great steelhead fishing in the mornings before we hunt. Everyone who has joined me on these trips has since returned with me or booked trips of their own.
I am willing to talk to anyone who has additional questions.**
Thanks, and enjoy the Last Frontier,

I wanted to drop you a note thanking you, and your family for the wonderful hospitality on our recent trip to Prince of Wales Island. Our group had a fantastic time. As I told you prior to booking the trip, I have been to the Island several times in the past, your accommodations, services, and hospitality was by far the best! The services that you offer are very appealing to our style of vacation, and budget. The amount of hunting, fishing, available is unbelievable. Game is everywhere! What a beautiful piece of Alaska you have. Keep up the good work! We are planning a fall trip for next year
We look forward to seeing you again.
Bruce WarrenJason & Trish,
A few words would sum up our experience: 4 star accommodations, excellent food, equipment is top quality if not new and we looked at 14 different bear in the first two days; taking 3 in two days to fill our tags. We finished the week catching Halibut, salmon and crabs.
TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!!

I must admit, I went on this tip to Alaska with the "fishermen boys" with some reservation. When we got there though, I was so delighted to see the great accommodations we had. A full size house/duplex with a nicely supplied kitchen, living room with TV, and great sleeping accommodations.
Our host cleaned our facilities daily, and left us fresh baked treats. We also had an outdoor Jacuzzi to use, a laundry room that had a phone to call "anywhere” free. The fish we caught was cleaned, packed, and frozen for us so we could take it home on our flight.
We had a great time fishing and touring! The area with great guidance from Jason and his wife at Adventure Alaska. They gave us a vehicle and boat to use as we wished-- so accommodating. I'd go back in a heartbeat. It was one of the best vacations ever.
Jason and I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable time than we had at your lodge. The rustic accommodations were marvelous, the atmosphere superb, and your company was warm and friendly.
Thank you for taking us to so many amazing places on the island. Everything from the Salt Chuck mine to an incredible dinner at Swedes, your hospitality was first class.
…I hope to return again and bring my wife Melanie to visit all the incredible wonders of Thorne Bay.

A thank you on our answering machine-
This is Dale O’Neil down in Ft. Worth Texas. I don’t know if you remember me but about 11 months ago I was up at Prince of Whales. I rented a boat from you, and you were very helpful. I just wanted to call and thank you again for all your help and I wanted call and wish you and your family a happy Easter. Let me know if you need anything from Texas, thanks again for all your help.
Jason and Trish:
Just wanted to let you know again, how much fun my family and I had up there this summer. Your place is by far the best place for what we like to do.
Well thanks for a great summer, Ill be back as long as you’ll have me.

Dear Jason and Trish
I am looking forward to my third spring at your lodge. I will again be bringing several of my hunting buddies to enjoy your outstanding hospitality. You have provided a wonderful experience for several friends and me these past two years, and I look forward to bringing some of them back and a couple new faces. A person can sometimes be hesitant to strongly recommend anything these days, however, in the case of your lodge and the entire Alaskan Experience, I do not have any qualms. The bear hunting opportunities on Prince of Wales Island, your lodge, and the friendly easy-going attitude and true hospitality that permeates the entire experience makes the trip easy to recommend to others. This is truly an affordable hunt with terrific accommodations. See you in May!!!
Thanks, and say "HI" to your family.
Wayne R. Mundt
To all you do it yourselfers: Don't miss this opportunity the accommodations are first rate and equipment first class. For the hunting and fishing trip of a lifetime give Jason and Trish a call, I do, every year!
Dear Jason and Trish,
Thank you for your warm hospitality during our stay at Adventure Alaska. The steelhead fishing was truly world-class as the three of us caught and releaseda dozen fish all weighing between 13 and 20 lbs. in two days of fishing where we had the entire stream to ourselves, never seeing anyone else! Unheard of when fishing for steelhead “down below”.
Your facilities are new, clean and very reasonable and that goes for the trucks, boats and even the linens. Thank you again, hope to see you next year.
The Adventure Alaska team of Trish and Jason, along with captain Jory Nunn put together an outstanding day of fishing on the boat Alpha and Omega on Friday the 13th of 2007, of all days!
Jory was courteous, attentive to the needs of his passengers and very professional. With five people on the boat that day he has his hands full making sure we were using the gear correctly and effectively and we all caught the limits of fish allowed for a daily catch. Fishing in Alaska has always been just a dream for me until now and thanks to the Adventure Alaska team it is now a dream come true. I would recommend this group to anyone, they will show you a good time! I know I will be saving this number for the time I can come back to this area of Alaska as I will without a doubt have them be my guide.
Thank you for the great time.
Jason & Trish,
Thanks so much for the wonderful memories as we truly had a remarkable time!! Carley and Lucas were asking when we could come back as soon as we got home. My father spoke very highly of you two and your professionally run operation, and I can now see first hand that his compliments were understated. Thanks again for your hospitality and attention to detail, we hope to return very soon. Take care.

Brian, Mary & FamilyHey Jason and Trish,
This is Corey Myers from flagstaff Arizona I never really got to thank you guys for how much fun I had last week. I had been looking forward to coming to Alaska for a long time and had been planning and saving for the trip for the last year or so. I had a blast, the fishing was awesome and eventho I didn't get a bear, hunting for them was pretty cool. I got to see a lot of country that I had never seen anything like before. The deep sea fishing was awesome to, Jory is a cool guy. Yellow eye rockfish has got to be the best thing I've ever tasted. The salmon fishing was amazing too, never in my life have I ever caught so many fish at that size in such a short period of time. The hole trip was truly an adventure, Alaska is the coolest place on earth. Its depressing coming back to Arizona knowing that I'll never get to hunt or fish like that again until I come back haha. You guys have a great outfit going on all of the vehicles, boats, and equipment where in excellent shape and the lodging was great. I enjoyed the hot tub very much. You guys where a big help, thanks for everything
-I'll see ya soon!
